Big Changes on Instagram: No More Content Scheduling Without This Update!

If you use Instagram for your business or brand, there’s a major update you need to know about — and it could affect how you schedule your content starting July 2025.
Meta recently announced that third-party scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, Buffer, and others will lose access to Instagram's Content Publishing API unless you reconnect your account using their new permissions process. If you don’t complete the update, your scheduled posts may not go live — and that could mean missed launches, engagement dips, and lost visibility.
🔧 What You Need to Do:
Reconnect your Instagram account inside your preferred scheduler (Later, Planoly, etc.).
You’ll be prompted to accept updated Meta permissions — don’t skip this step.
Once updated, your posts will continue to publish as usual.
Why This Matters:
If your Instagram account isn’t updated, scheduled content may fail to post.
You may lose insights or auto-publishing access temporarily.
This is not optional — Meta is tightening API access for security and platform control.
💡 Pro Tip for Busy Moms & Small Biz Owners:
Take 5 minutes today to log into your content scheduling tool and reconnect your account — especially if you rely on automation to stay consistent while juggling family, work, and life.
